Dramas, dramas, dramas... and movies

It's already September, I'm sick, an awful blogger and now sitting here, (re)writing this post. I took enough some time to finish Secret Garden and Lucky Seven. If you know me, you might remember that I said 843746x times that I drop Secret Garden. Nevertheless, I decided to continue it. And I wasn't disappointed. After episode 13 everything got a bit better. The plot, the relationship between Gil Ra Im and Kim Joo Won and the nice Christmas atmosphere. I didn't expect it myself. If you can tolerate complicated relationships and intrigues (I don't know, I have the feeling I exaggerate?), you'll like the ending.
The second drama I mentioned is the Japanese detective series Lucky Seven starring Matsumoto Jun of popular group Arashi, actress Naka Riisa and famous actor Eita, only to name a few. It already ended months ago but I was so busy with university and got easily distracted that I didn't continue it. Sadly, because it's really good! Not the typical detective story you would expect! Try it! It's not too serious yet comical.
The third drama I'm currently stuck on is IRIS. A friend lend me the movie MISSION IRIS which is simply said, the whole 20 episodes in 2 hours. However, I didn't watch it yet so I tell you afterwards if it's good or not. Starring Lee Byunghun and Kim Taehee, as well as BIGBANG member TOP, this drama was a hot topic in 2009.
I promised to myself that I only continue or start another drama when I've completed at least the IRIS drama. Way to go~! And I am, I think 'only' five episodes left? (haha)
Movies don't count so I took a break from dramas and watched five nice movies I'd like to recommend.
First one is the Korean movie Ride a bike (달려라 자전거) from 2008 with actor Lee Yeonghun and actress  Han Hyoju. Usually, I don't really watch those kinds of movies with melancholic and sad themes (which is only one aspect of this movie), I rarely do, but this one got me hooked. I don't know why, I found it by chance and just decided to watch it.

Next one is the Japanese movie Tokyo Girl. Absolutely perfect, I don't know what to say. Just let me finish it with this little sentence, will you? Girl talking to a boy and falling in love with the help of her mobile phone, 100 years between them. Funny how nobody notices the phone in 1912.
Similar to Tokyo Girl is a Korean movie from 2000 (Yes, that 'old' already). Personally, I prefer Tokyo Girl but Ditto or in Korean 동감 was interesting as well. Hey, they don't live 100 years apart from each other - it's not the love story you expect as well.

Next, the Korean horror/comedy/romance movie Chilling Romance aka 오싹한 연애 with one of my favorite actors now, Lee Minki. He is hilarious and I loved him in Shut up! Flower boyband. With some horror elements, this movie still develops an interesting and funny love story. And it's the newest, along with the last one I tell you about, 2011.
BAMRATATATATA....

I don't really get the storyline BUT it is interesting and hey, one of my favorite groups looking extremly good, fighting and Siwan's developed acting skills (Heechul was such a surprise as the main, I enjoyed that!) made it an awesome co-production between Korea and Japan. The movie is RONINPOP and ZE:A sang a song for the ost~!

I hope one or two movies are after your fancy. If you watch them, tell me afterwards how you liked them! I'm curious! Guess, I stop for tonight and try to enjoy some hours of sleep. The new semester is coming soon and I have to prepare some papers and study a bit. Have a good day and be blessed! See you soon!

Much love,

D.
